Design begins with listening.

Studioto is an independent spatial design practice based in the Netherlands.

The name TO comes from the Japanese word "と", meaning "and" or "with".

We believe that meaningful design emerges through relationships — between people, spaces, and their surroundings.

Every project begins with listening. By bringing different voices and perspectives together, we explore unexpected connections and discover new possibilities.

Through dialogue and collaboration, we aim to create thoughtful, functional, and enjoyable spaces that enrich everyday life.

Designing with, rather than simply for.

Studioto is led by Satoki Koyanagi, a Japanese spatial designer with over ten years of experience in exhibition, retail, and interior design. Having worked with Kossmanndejong, Marcel Wanders, Opera Amsterdam, and Design Musica, she brings together creative exploration and technical understanding, from initial concepts through to construction.
